
The three-day non-residential
summer camp will feature a variety of activities including
rugby league skills, dietary advice, lifestyle awareness &
team building in a fun, friendly, environment.
Your child will experience how Kevin Sinfield prepares,trains
and competes in his life as a professional rugby league player.
The Academy coaches will give the participants an inside
view on life as a professional sportsman and are able to pass
on valuable knowledge providing a foundation for future success.
This course is disability friendly and we are able to cater
for all levels of ability.
The Kevin Sinfield Academy:
The Kevin Sinfield Academy is run by The Sports Channel, a
professional sports marketing agency and all of our staff
have been CRB checked for your peace of mind. The Kevin Sinfield
Academy is supported by Leeds City Council and Leeds Metropolitan
University.
About Kevin:
Kevin Sinfield is widely recognised as one of the brightest
stars of modern rugby league. Currently captain of Super League
and Carnegie World Club Champions, Leeds Rhinos, he made his
first team debut as a sixteen year old in 1997.
Kevin was top points scorer in the Rugby Super League in
2004, kicking 152 goals to take his total to 323. He is at
home in either the stand-off or loose forward role and is
one of the top performers in the engage Super League this
year.
Kevin made his international debut during the 2000 World
Cup, representing England at the age of nineteen years old.
His first game was against World Champions Australia and in
his second game he
scored a hat-trick against Russia.
Kevin has represented England on several occasions and played
for Great Britain in the 2001, 2002, and 2003 Test Series
against Australia and New Zealand. |
